Mark Silverman
President

Silverman joined the Big Ten Network in December 2006 after serving as the general manager and senior vice president of ABC Cable Networks Group, where he managed the company's equity in such channels as Lifetime Television, A&E Network and the History Channel. Silverman was also responsible for developing and launching new cable channels, shows and other key initiatives. He also served as the general manager of ABC Family Channel from 2003-04.

Prior to joining ABC Family, Silverman was co-founder and president of Silverkings Media, a media/entertainment consulting company, from 2001-03, and senior vice president of Broadband Sports, an online sports content company, from 1999-2001.

His previous experience also consists of various leadership roles with the Walt Disney Company from 1991-1999, including serving as vice president of business development for ABC, Inc., General Manager of ESPN Zone and vice president of Walt Disney Studios.

Leon Schweir
Executive Producer/Vice President, Production

Schweir was named Executive Producer/VP, Production of the Big Ten Network in January 2007 and comes to the Network with more than 25 years of production, programming and management experience. His work has been recognized with two national and 27 local Sports Emmy Awards.

Prior to joining the Big Ten Network, Schweir spent 26 years at Madison Square Garden Networks in New York City. From 2000 until his new appointment, he served as Executive Producer/Vice President of Programming, overseeing the programming for two regional sports networks - Madison Square Garden Network (MSGN) and FSN New York. He also served as Coordinating Producer for MSGN and for many years was the lead producer for New York Yankees telecasts, including the team's four World Championship seasons from 1996 to 2000.

Elizabeth Conlisk
Vice President, Communications

Prior to joining the Big Ten Network in March as VP, Communications, Conlisk spent six years at The Ohio State University, serving five years as assistant vice president for media relations and her final year as special assistant to the president for executive communications.

At Ohio State, Conlisk was responsible for developing communications strategies with senior administration officials to improve the university's academic reputation and performance, and worked proactively through the news media to communicate the university's mission and position on relevant issues. More recently, she wrote speeches and helped manage high-level projects for the university president.

She was the founder and president of the strategic communications consultancy Opin!onsPlus from 1994 to 2000. Conlisk also held marketing and communications positions for Enron Gas Services Group and Miller Brewing Company.

Mike Feller
Vice President, Programming

Feller joined the Big Ten Network in March 2007 after spending nearly a decade helping to build Fox's FSN programming service and the 19 owned-and-operated regional sports networks that now support it. He is one of a small contingent of executives to have joined Fox when it had few sports properties and has since grown to become one of the nation's most influential providers of sports programming to television, broadband and other platforms.

A 10-year veteran of FSN, Feller most recently served as vice president of programming, developing current and long-term national programming strategies and analyzing original programming concepts. His previous positions at FSN include director of programming, manager of programming and manager of scheduling, where he was involved with regional scheduling, affiliate sales and production.

Erin Harvego
Vice President, Marketing

Harvego oversees marketing and media buying for the Big Ten Network including consumer marketing, on-air promotions, radio, print and brand strategy.

Harvego coordinated the network's successful advertising campaign with the tagline, "This is Big Ten Country and this is where it lives" as the network became the first in cable/satellite history to reach 30 million subscribers within its first 30 days on the air.

Harvego joined the Big Ten Network in March 2007 after serving as the director of marketing and promotion for Rainbow Sports Networks in New York, a subsidiary of Cablevision. Her responsibilities included oversight of integrated sales and marketing campaigns, consumer marketing, on-air promotions, multi-platform marketing, communications and brand development for Rainbow's several regional sports services.

Roy Seinfeld
Vice President, Sales

Specializing in e-commerce and interactive sales, Seinfeld joined the Big Ten Network in May 2007 after serving as the senior vice president of sales at W3I.com, an interactive marketing services company. From 2001 to 2005, he was the president of FanBuzz, a Minnesota-based electronic commerce and catalogue solutions provider. During his tenure, the company experienced annual sales of more than $35 million and served major sports clients such as ESPN, the National Hockey League, the Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls, among others. Before that, Seinfeld held senior sales positions with ValueVision Media, FSN New York and Turner Entertainment Networks.

Kevin Weiberg
Vice President, University Planning & Development

In June 2007, Weiberg left his post as commissioner of the Big 12 Conference to join the Big Ten Network.  As Big 12 commissioner, Weiberg has had a prominent role in collegiate athletics, serving terms as coordinator of the Bowl Championship Series (BCS), as a member of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee and as chair of the Division I-A Collegiate Commisioners' Association. He also is on the board of directors of the Collegiate Women's Sports Award and the women's basketball officiating consortium. During his tenure, Big 12 teams have won 27 NCAA championships. And in fiscal year 2006-07, the conference distributed a record $106 million to its member institutions.
